“A nation that destroys its soil, destroys itself”
The mother Earth cares for its children but we the humans are destroying the environment by our greed. To respect and value our mother earth, the school has celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2021. The school celebrated this event virtually by sharing the importance of Environment, the information of environmentalist like Jadhav Payeng – an environmental activist and forestry worker from Majuli, popularly known as the Forest Man of India and Greta Thunberg – a Swedish environmental activist who is known for challenging world leaders to take immediate action for climate change mitigation. Students participated in various activities like plantation, slogan making etc. A video was premiered on this event to motivate students to save the environment.
